Looking to get more bang for your Chase points? Transferring them to Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles is a smart move—especially for international trips or flights with Star Alliance partners. The whole process is pretty easy, just a few steps to follow.

First, make sure you’ve got a Chase credit card that lets you transfer points. This includes the Chase Sapphire Preferred®, Sapphire Reserve®, or Ink Business Preferred®. If you use Chase Freedom Flex℠ or Freedom Unlimited®, you’ll need to move those points over to one of the premium cards first.

Next, set up your Miles&Smiles account if you haven’t already—it’s free and fast. Be sure your name on the Turkish account matches your Chase profile exactly to avoid hiccups.

Now head to your Chase Ultimate Rewards portal, go to “Transfer to Travel Partners,” and find Turkish Airlines on the list. Points transfer at a 1:1 ratio, so every 1,000 points turns into 1,000 miles. Enter how many you want to send, confirm the details, and hit submit.

Transfers are usually instant but might take up to 24 hours. Once your miles show up, you can start booking award flights—either with Turkish or their Star Alliance partners. For more information read our blog on How to transfer chase ultimatepoints to Turkish Airlines.
